Tommy Nesson- I grew up the youngest child of a local running legend. My dad was such an instrumental part of the local running club, their volunteer of the year award now bears his name. I attended Mercy College, a small division II school, in Dobbins Ferry, NY, on a running scholarship. I eventually found my way to the classic distance, the marathon. For over 12 years I had the pleasure of being part of the greatest marathon pace team ever assembled, the Clif Bar Marathon Pace Team. As a member of the Clif Team, I was fortunate enough to help bring others to their goal time in marathons all across the US and Canada. Having completed over 70 marathons, I’ve either seen it, or it’s happened to me. However, in an ironic twist of fate, my favorite race distance is the 5k
